The Dynamics of Prayer

"The highest calling of prayer is common ion with God: the very essence of prayer is an ENCOUNTER with God and the context in which God engages us." -Doug Small

In Luke 18:1 the scripture says, "And He (Jesus) spoke this parable unto them, that men ought ALWAYS to pray and not faint (lose heart). We are instructed again prayer in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 to, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

In this study we will look at the priority of prayer, the posture of prayer and the power of prayer.

F.B. Meyer - "the greatest tragedy  of life is not unanswered prayer, but unordered prayer.
