Day 11- Listen - Surrender -Trust

Hebrews 12:1,2 NKJV

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We have been surrounded by many great men and women of faith and prayer, many that have now gone on to be with Jesus. They left this earth still holding onto Jesus and knowing every promise in His Word is sure.

They set themselves aside to prayer and fasting many times and then saw the hand of God move because of their obedience.

Through prayer we can make intercession for the lost, gain wisdom and direction, and strength for the inner man. As we totally surrender all to God in prayer and fasting, He can fill us with His power and anointing to go forward in His name.

Some things are only broken through prayer and fasting.

Prayer and fasting can change the outcome for generations to come.

Jesus, the greatest example of all, prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane from the deepest depths of his heart, deep intercession and surrender to the will of God, knowing that in his own strength he couldn’t face the persecution ahead. But loved us so much that He wanted generations to come to be able to have eternal life in heaven.

Jesus said you will seek me and find me, when you see me with all your heart.
